My early forays into art expression go back to childhood and included rogue applications of found house paint on objects such as my childhood tricycle and I even once used my new watercolors to improve the monochrome illustrations in a storybook. I actually was rather pleased with the result..!

Color has always been my non guilty addiction.. Sharing my world of color with you brings me joy.

Painting with acrylics is my main thing these days, but I have been known to dabble in oils, alcohol inks and very amateur photography. I am mostly self taught but was fortunate to have a few art teachers that really saw me. (Mental health and relationships are other passions of mine.)

My claim to fame in the art awards department was winning 1st place in the first contest I applied for back in 2012. "Firecracker Love" was the painting. That painting also had the honor of being one of the first to make it into silk scarf form. It remains a favorite.
